Since I was tagged to do this thing by Eric, I decided I'd do it lol.

10 years ago: I was in 10th grade and I wasn't dating anyone. I was partying alot and just enjoying my life with all my friends. I'd play basketball almost religiously. I was big into rap music. I drove a car for the first time and I didn't have my permit or license. Some of my good friends were Brian D. Jon M. Jeret N. Mitch andMarshal P. and pretty much anyone who would tag along with us every once in awhile.

5 years ago: I was working at FedEx and that was pretty much it lol. I had just ended a 4 year relationship. I'd hang out with Eric or Mitch every once in awhile. I played Everquest and UO every once in awhile. Stopped listening to main stream rap and got into techno. Still liked some rap.

1 year ago: I was playing games with Megan, working at FedEx (still) and looking for some type of change in my life. Rap music has gone to complete garbage, so I stopped listening to that. Got really into techno, mainly Drum and Bass. Made a few dnb mixes and got a little more creative with myself.

Yesterday: It's written about in the post below :p. Been feeling "Housey" in my music selection.

My Crazy Day

So yesterday was a weird day. We were to meet another guy at Sheetz near Manheim at 5:00am so that we knew how to get to this place. We get to Sheetz, meet up with the other guys and headed on over to Philly. We are driving along and I really have to pee, so I'm just sitting there not saying a whole lot when all of a sudden we hear a little pop like noise and the truck is shaking violently. We signalled to the guys in front of us that we had to pull off and pulled off to the side of the road. We get out in the pouring down rain to check the tires out. Great! Our back tire has a huge bubble in it, so we had to change a freaking tire in the rain.

After that little fiasco, we were on our journey again. We were cold, wet and I was tired since I had woke up at midnight. So we are driving along the turnpike and look in the rearview mirror and here the cabinet door on the side was hanging wide open. We stopped at a Wawa's for coffee and checked to see if anything fell out. Luckily nothing fell out, so we were good to go.

We get to this place and I find out we need to wear a hair net. I'm thinking to myself "Ok, we are here to weld, paint, grind and just all around cause a huge mess and we need to wear a hair net?!" I personally thought that was stupid, but I guess it's company policy so I threw on a hair net. God, I looked ridiculous. Thankfully I can't grow facial hair, so the few whiskers I have didn't require me to wear a beard net :p.

We tore down some wood frame, moved a huge roller line, fixed a few belt lines and that was pretty much the rest of my day. The inside of that place was freezing. Like the whole building was just near freezing accept for a few spots, so that sucked especially since I was already soaking wet from changing the tire.

I got home and took Dr. Meggypoo's advice and set my alarm to wake up at 6:30pm, just enough to give me an hour nap. I ended up sleeping through my alarm and waking up at 5:30am this morning lol. Well, I guess you could say I needed the rest and it got me back on schedule. Atleast I have today off of work. I still need to head to the store to get a game for me and Meg to play. I've missed her these past few days.

Right now I'm just organizing my DnB tracks so that I can find them more easily and still trying to clean my pc from a bad link someone sent me and didn't even apologize for doing it. Some people really get on my nerves.

The End of the Light Bulb?

Well, according to this article on livescience LEDs are to replace the standard light bulb. They save on energy, longer lasting and actually look cooler then normal light bulbs. Do you seriously think this will be our next light source? I don't think so. There is tons of money made on replacing light bulbs, so the idea of a "longer lasting" light bulb isn't lining anyones pockets with money. I doubt it will ever be mass produced. I will be swept under the rug by big corporations because there isn't nearly as much money to be made making these new light sources. Ugh.. Sometimes I think we have our eyes set too much on money and not enough on what really matters which should be lower energy consumption.

I saw this and thought I'd share with you all. It's a really cool invention. I think from my understanding is you can paint the ceiling with these and have your entire ceiling light up. Now that would be neat. Just imagine the light switch raves you could pull off with this lol.

John Kerry Needs Me To Make Money

So I'm going to Philly today. Not for any type of fun though. I will be working in the Heinz plant down there installing a new production line. I might be down there on sunday too, so if I don't get to talk to anyone, atleast you know where I'll be :p.

It also doesn't help things seeing as I'm on this stupid sleep schedule lol. I need to try to stay awake tomorrow after work. Atleast I get to talk to my brother since I am up at night now :p.

Naps

I shouldn't have taken such a long nap after work today. I fell asleep a little after 5pm and woke up at 11:30pm. I had trouble sleeping the night before which really made me tired when I got home. The fact I had fuel sprayed on me yesterday didn't help me feel any better. I guess from now on no matter how tired I am, I am no longer taking a nap since I usually end up sleeping for so damn long.

I hate how I have a tendancy to switch back to my night schedule. I think that's a reason why I tend to not be able to sleep at night and sleep so long during the day. I haven't worked nights in a long time, but my body is still so used to it.

I wasn't ignoring you yesterday. I was just passed out since as you can see by the timestamp on this post it is about 3:30am and I havent slept :p.

The Most Beautiful Thing

Lets see.. I would have to say the most beautiful thing for me is, hearing the words I love you. If there is anything more worthwhile in this world it is that. There is just so much in those 3 little words that just makes me melt. I guess it's when you know someone is there and someone really cares about me that is just so beautiful in itself that I can't just pick one specific time. I've heard it from a few people and those people I would do anything for (yes this includes you).

Also, let me continue writing down everything I said I liked about you. We get along great most of the time, we do similar things, I love talking to you, I enjoy whatever game we are playing together, I like your jokes, you have a cute laugh, you seem to actually care about me, you support me, you're always there for me even when I do stupid things, you have similar outlooks on life as I do, you're an all around great person, you have good morals, you're silly, we can talk about ANYTHING and it doesn't bother either of us, you're cute, you appreciate me, you're a very intelligent person, you have a nice writing style, you don't hold any grudges towards me when we do get upset, you're a really sweet girl. I'm sure there is more, but I can't think of all the tiny things atm lol. I'm sleepy, but maybe I'll add on to them when they come to me.

More About My New Job

Well, I figured I'd tell you more about my job. Friday I learned how to bevel w/a grinder. That was actually kind of fun. I also had to go back up on the scissor lift. This time I wasn't as nervous, but I was lifting a freaking huge pipe, so it was a little difficult :p.

Saturday I went shopping with my dad for tools and a new pair of boots. I had to get metatarsal boots since I might need them on some of the job sites. I also started my tool collection of everything I might need.

After we had gone shopping we ended up going up to Harrisburg to help my brother figure out why his roof was leaking. We also checked out to see why his floor was sinking. Here someone took out a support beam and didn't bother to replace it so now my bro has to get a jack and some new beams to fix his little sink hole he has going on in his kitchen.

After we got back from my brothers place he started to show me how to cut with a torch. Well, I'm not the greatest with it since it gets so freaking hot. I need to get used to the heat. Dripping metal isn't exactly something that's easy to be around lol.

I've been spending alot of time with my dad since I now work with him. It's been kind of fun spending this time with my dad. He picks on me at work since I don't know jack shit lol. Wheather I decide to stick around this job or maybe find something else, I think this is a good experience for myself. I get to spend time with my dad and I'm learning a new trade.

I've gained a ton of respect for my dad over the past few days. He's the bossman and you can tell when we are at work. He's very knowledgable on everything he is doing and tells me all sorts of stuff about the job. It's a neat experience and I will enjoy my next few weeks at work. I just hope I don't run into any of the jackoffs my dad was telling me about, who will call me worthless because I can't do everything.

First Day

Today was my first day at work. I won't get into any details about things here, but lets just say I was a total newb :p. I came home from work and crashed out since I had problems sleeping the night before. I was really really tired when I got home, so if I didn't get to talk to you after work, I'm sorry.
